This year's "MFA Speaks," in which the graduate students discuss their thesis work, will be held in a couple of different sessions at the new
Lamar Dodd School of Art building. Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15, from 12:10 to 1 p.m., students
Jennifer Hartley (that's one of her paintings pictured above),
Samantha Mosby and
Erin McIntosh will speak on their work in Gallery 307. Friday, April 17, from 12:10 to 1 p.m., students
Wes Airgood,
Maury Gortemiller and
Stacy Isenbarger will speak in Gallery 101 and the Suite Gallery. Attendees should meet in the galleries indicated and feel free to ask questions. The
Athens Banner-Herald also has a nice write-up of the exhibition, which closes Friday to be followed by a series of BFA exit shows.
