Friends Annual Meeting slideshow
Good morning, everyone. We really enjoyed having our Friends of the Georgia Museum of Art annual meeting over at the Lamar Dodd School of Art, which has a fabulous space for the purpose, and we appreciate their letting us use it. The remarkable Ann Scoggins received the M. Smith Griffith Volunteer of the Year Award (a.k.a., the Smitty) and the sculpture that goes along with it, which was created by Jack Kehoe. Outgoing Friends president Paige Carmichael did a wonderful job talking about the past year before she handed off the reins to new president Karen Benson and announced the new officers of the Friends, new board members and outgoing board members. Everyone enjoyed the reception following as well. We salute Ann, Paige and everyone who was involved!
