Figgie's@Five schedule lined up

We've set up our lineup for the next few editions of Figgie's@Five at the Georgia Museum of Art.

On Jan. 31, Kyshona Armstrong will be our featured performer. Kyshona's style has been heavily influenced by blues, folk and neo-soul, and she's been compared to Tracy Chapman and Dionne Ferris.

Check Kyshona out at her MySpace page.

On Feb. 28, acoustic artist Allison Weiss will perform in Figgie's Cafe. Allison is a student at the University of Georgia whose style, according to Gordan Lamb of Flagpole "sits stylistically somewhere between Dashboard Confessional and Emmylou Harris."

Check Allison out at her MySpace page.

A closer view of Strauss's stainless steel sculpture in Wild Ride on this cold, drizzly morning in Athens.

working on the installation of Modern Threads: Fashion and Art by Mariska Karasz.
An interesting juxtaposition in The Carter Collection Revisited.
