International Museum Day

Did you know that today is International Museum Day? The theme in 2009 is "Museums and Tourism," something the public relations department at the museum is very involved with. Do you consider museums a vital part of tourism? When you visit another town, do you look ahead of time to see what museums are there? Have you ever gone somewhere just to visit a museum? What more can we be doing to promote cultural tourism?
