Why We've Been Blogging a Little Less Lately...

It's the very last push, as Holder Construction moves their offices into our Carlton Street building and we move out or into storage everything else. Here are some photos we took last week, when staff donned their GMOA on the Move t-shirts and jeans and moved the pallet jack around the museum. Did we get a little loopy? Yes, but there's something about the abandoned offices that makes it all feel real. Be sure to check back here and on the main site once our webcam of construction is set up for regular updates.

Boxing experts

While most of us have been moved to GMOA North, plenty of staff and temporary help remains behind at the old building, packing and moving and doing whatever needs to be done. Lanora Pierce, one of our preparators, snapped this photo of Kenneth Kase, clearly explaining something, in front of an array of boxes at GMOA East, as we've taken to calling it.
