Art Daily featured one of our own exhibitions this weekend, The South in Black and White: The Works of James E. Routh Jr., 1939-1946,which the Georgia Museum of Art is organizing for the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum at Georgia Tech, in Atlanta. Photography has not been done yet, but it will be soon, and we will have images for you, as well as in the catalogue that is in progress.
Other articles not directly related to GMOA but of interest include this piece on the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston's financial difficulties and this one on the tremendous expansion of the Walters Art Museum's searchable collection database. The New York Times has an interesting article on conservation and climate control at museums, especially in light of green initiatives.
