GMOA in the News

The Athens Banner-Herald mentioned Pierre Daura Curator of European Art Lynn Boland's talk at Town & Gown in an article on "Picasso at the Lapin Agile."

The museum also gets mentioned in an article about the ties between the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and UGA, when Bobby Tyler, Performing Arts Center media guy, references us in passing.

The Georgia Museum of Art, the official state museum of art, strives to fulfill the legacy of its founder, Alfred Heber Holbrook, who was so dedicated to promoting the importance of art that he would load paintings into the trunk of his car and take off around the state.
