Art museum bits

A few links to items that interest me:

* Museum of Modern Art, New York: "Tim Burton" retrospective. From MOMA's site:
This major career retrospective on Tim Burton (American, b. 1958), consisting of a gallery exhibition and a film series, considers Burton's career as a director, producer, writer, and concept artist for live-action and animated films, along with his work as a fiction writer, photographer and illustrator.
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure playing at MOMA cracks me up a little.

* Friday "Stroller Tours" at the Whitney Museum of American Art sound like a good idea.

* The Speed Art Museum in Louisville, Kentucky, has two exhibitions related to Abraham Lincoln.

* The ongoing Elgin Marbles discussion enters another phase as Greece rejects the British Museum's latest offer.
