In the News
A funny article over at the New York Times explores Obama-themed art, which despite the growing distance from the election and inauguration is still popping up, and making money, all over the web. Portraits of the president, the majority of them created by non-professional artists, have found a market on eBay, where they are selling sometimes for over $100. While a few big names from the art world have tried to break into the market, it is the works by amateur painters that generate the sales on eBay and the interest on websites like obamaartreport.com, artofobama.com and badpaintingsofbarackobama.com.
